Snowtubing Manager – Big Boulder
Big Boulder Park is seeing a qualified, outgoing, energetic individual to become a valued member of our team.  We currently have an opening for a Snowtubing Manager.  This position is full time, year round and encompasses the management of our Snowtubing operation which is an integral part of the overall success of Big Boulder.
The qualified candidate for this exciting position should be able to provide operational leadership for a strategic profit center, key requirements will include:
  • Manage a seasonal staff of 60+ employees
  • Oversee Snowtubing operations for safety of guests & staff
  • Maintain proper logs, paperwork & signage that pertains to daily operations
  • Monitor session counts to maximize ticket sales while ensuring a pleasant guest experience
  • Ensures the aesthetic appearance of the operation at all times
  • Perform equipment tests on tow & carpet lifts to make sure they are running properly
  • Visually inspect snow chute conditions at all times and identify grooming needs
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule during the winter months including weekends, holidays and non-traditional work hours 
  • Willingness to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions
  • Ability to communicate effectively with employees, management & guests
  • Previous management experience required
  • Knowledge of and experience working in the ski industry a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Tourism Management, Recreation Services or Business Management or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are acquired
