Junior Development Teams

Skiing Ages 4-15—Snowboarding Ages 8-15

The race program will be based out of Jack Frost Mountain. This program is designed to develop strong skiing or snowboarding skills with an introduction to the fundamentals of gate racing. The emphasis is on fun and functional performance with a lighter competitive focus. Participants must be comfortable on all intermediate terrain and be able to handle various ski lifts.

The program does not require a PARA membership or a USSA competition license. Participants are invited to race in special competitions held at Jack Frost Mountain.

Junior Competition Teams

Skiing & Snowboarding Ages 10-18

This is our officially-sanctioned competition program. Rapid gate training, higher speeds, and more difficult terrain are all part of the program. Because of the higher skill level and terrain difficulty, all participants must be advanced skiers or snowboarders with membership in PARA and hold a USSA competitors' license. Participation in Northeast Qualifying events will require traveling to away races within the region and possibly beyond.

8:30 AM to 11:00 AM & 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM

Age Classifications

Class 4/5 - Ages 10 - 12 Class 3 - Ages 13 - 14

Class 1/2 - Ages 15 - 18

Parents' Mountain Class

A special class for parents who don't want their kids to have all the fun, this program will be run Saturdays only. 2 hour morning and afternoon sessions

Christmas Camp

Available for all Junior Racers ages 4 to 18 and Snowboarders ages 8 to 18.

Fee: $100 for member | $175 for non-member

5 hours per day:

8:30am - 11:00am & 12:00pm - 3pm
