SnowMonsters at Jack Frost & Big Boulder make learning the basics of winter sports for kids easy and fun. The lessons are supervised and students learn everything from how to come to a complete stop to how to safely use a chair lift. Classes are divided by students' abilities and safety always comes first.
Ski Program (ages 3 to 10):
A program that is geared for children ages 3 to 10. It makes learning to ski easy and fun. This program is for beginners through advanced skiers. Children are divided into groups according to their abilities.
Snow Tigers (ages 3 to 4):
This program allows children to experience the sport of skiing. The lesson is an indoor and outdoor fully-supervised lesson. The lesson includes games and activities to get children familiar with their skiing equipment and some basic skills. This group stays in our children's teaching area.
Snow Snakes (ages 5 to 10):
This fully-supervised lesson is for first-time skiers. Our instructors will guide the children to progress to the next level of skiing in a safe and fun environment. Skier children will be skiing on all terrain according to their ability and ride the chair lift to the top.
Advanced Snow Snakes (ages 5 to 10):
This fully-supervised lesson is for skiers of all abilities. Our instructors will guide the children to progress to the next level of skiing in a safe and fun environment. Skier children will be skiing on all terrain according to their ability and ride the chair lift to the top.
Snowboard Beavers (ages 6 to 10):
Established along the same lines as its skiing counterpart this snowboard program will put children ages 6 to 10 on the road to a lifetime of fun. This program teaches children to learn how to ride or to move them to the next level if they have already snowboarded. Sessions are offered daily and start at 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
Session Times:
Jack Frost: Daily sessions at 9:00 am and end at noon, the afternoon session begins promptly at 1:00 p.m. and ends at 4:00 p.m.
Big Boulder: Monday - Friday sessions at 3:00 pm and end at 6:00pm. Saturday and Sunday at 9:00 am and end at noon, the afternoon session begins promptly at 1:00 p.m. and ends at 4:00 p.m.
The three-hour sessions include supervised instruction both indoors and outdoors which includes organizational and break times.
