Late Season Instructor Training Course
A rite of passage for skiers and snowboarders seeking to join the ranks of dedicated snow sport instructors for years.
Our expert trainers will evaluate your skiing or snowboarding skills while introducing you to methods that allow you to effectively share your love of the sport with others. You will learn the secrets of the pro’s and develop the skills that great instructors use to help teach students the sport in ways that are rewarding and fun.
March 9 & 10, 2019 at Jack Frost Mountain
You must attend 1 full weekend (both Saturday & Sunday) and take part in the Instructor Training Course. Instructor Training Course is held at Jack Frost Mountain - attendees will be evaluated for a position at either Jack Frost or Big Boulder's Ski School Department.
Please complete the form below to register – there is no charge for the course. Once you complete and submit the form the Snowsport Learning Staff will either call or email you to confirm your registration.
- Participants are asked to arrive no later tha 8:30am on Saturday allow adequate time for registration.
- Daily sessions will begin promptly at 9am and continue until 4pm.
- Lunch will be on your own from 12pm to 1pm daily
- You must be 16 or older to participate.
Top graduates from the program will be offered positions as a Jack Frost & Big Boulder Snowsport Staff Memberr, either full-time or part-time, depending on your choice and our needs. Job offers will be made for next winter, the 2019/2020 Season. If offered a position, as a condition of employment you will be responsible to provide JFBB 3 background clearances as defined by Pennsylvania's Child Protective Services Law - click here for instructions on how to obtain your clearances.
