Need To Know

Uphill Access

Hiking, Skinning, and Snowshoeing Non-lift access to ski area facilities such as uphill snowshoeing, hiking or “skinning”, may present high danger of personal injury to participants or others. Therefore, we have designated certain trails for uphill access, which may be limited or forbidden based on conditions, on-mountain activity, and/or mountain policy.

Jack Frost Uphill Access Program:

To identify those trails that are available for use, see the sign posted in Uphill Access Parking Lot next to the Bottom Ski Patrol Building or call Ski Patrol Dispatch during normal operating hours at 570-443-4708. Resort rescue services are not available outside of hours of lift operations.

UPHILL ACCESS IS PERMITTED FROM 7:30AM TO 8:30AM ON DESIGNATED TRAILS ONLY. 

Big Boulder Uphill Access Program:

To identify those trails that are available for use, see the sign posted in Uphill Access Parking area located closest to the bottom of Harmony Lift or call Ski Patrol Dispatch during normal operating hours at 570-443-4709. Resort rescue services are not available outside of hours of lift operations.

UPHILL ACCESS IS PERMITTED FROM 7:30AM TO 8:30AM WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS

ON MERRY WIDOW ONLY FROM 2:00PM TO 3:00 MIDWEEK
